I started at Equesure in November 2019, after many years of experience of working with horses. The knowledge that I have acquired and developed, whilst working previously in horse racing in Newmarket, plays a key role in the equine insurance scene. I feel I have fitted into the Equesure team well and like the fact that we all have horses in common.
Khairaat (Khai) is a 6 year old ex-racehorse that retired from racing and is now being re-schooled. He has only been with us for 10 months, however his progression is very promising. We are hoping he will progress onto a future career in ROR and eventing.
Comestar is my old section D X mare that I have owned for what feels like a lifetime. I have shown, competed and taken part in drag hunts with her for many of my younger years. She is now on semi-retirement at my mum's where she spends most of her days hacking and enjoying the delights of the paddock.
Black Jack (Jack) is a pony that my mum and I share. Although she is only 6 years old, he is broken to drive and I have been on competitive driving challenges with her.
I started riding at a very young age and was lucky enough to be able to have my own horses. In 2010, I attended The British Racing School and began my career in the industry. When I was younger I did a lot of work in local livery yards and many other disciplines.
I have done everything from showing to drag hunting. But these days I am mostly a happy hacker. However, since getting a new horse I am looking at getting back into competing and winning those red rosettes!
I love working here at Equesure as the team we have are all connected by horses and we all share the same passion. Also my knowledge never stops growing and I often learn something new every day about horses and insurance.
